I watched this, the 900th downloaded TED Talk and found that it brought out so many emotions in me.
Spoken word poetry is just that…words. In Sarah though and her fellow performer and friend Phil Kaye (no relation) there is something of a renaissance of the human voice to express and tell a story. Since TED is essentially about someone on a stage telling a story then this is perhaps the most fitting way that they could have chosen to mark their 900th videod talk.
