In a world where visual literacy is fast becoming the choice of the digital generation, we have a central video that builds up with a number of other video links coming up, until eventually you are able to see a whole range of videos all relating to the way that students learn in the digital age.
It was a fascinating experience for me because I could see the beginnings of what the internet can turn into with hyperlinks of videos to videos in a way that allows you to halt what you are watching and then watch another video that extends what you have just seen.
This is not about straight line thinking or straight line writing which has dominated literacy for centuries. It is about exploring the flexibility of the net. Add to all this the ability to communicate and get new links and ideas and we have a powerful new literacy that will change our world and become the literacy of the future.
